Manufacturing

We have very limited in-house manufacturing capability, only meant to be used to speed up development times by avoiding third delays associated with external prototype manufacture. For anything other than samples, we would either supply production data to your preferred manufacturing organisation, or supply completed equipment or sub-assemblies manufactured by a number of first class sub-contract organisations providing the following services.

• Precision CNC milling and turning, or samples made by skilled machinists from sketches.
• Sheet metal laser cutting and folding
• Wiring harness and cable assemblies
• PCB substrate procurement, surface mount and through hole assembly
• Programming and laser marking of almost all OTP and flash FPGAs and memory devices.
• Hybrid substrate procurement, Chip-and-wire and surface mount assembly
• Component sourcing and kitting
• Injection moulding tooling
• Final electrical and mechanical assembly of your product.
  

We can offer in-house low volume programming of some Actel devices using Activator 2S, Silicon Sculptor, or Silicon Sculptor II programmers, subject to adapter module availability. We also have several variants of Actel FlashPro programmers, which allow in-circuit reprogramming of Flash based Actel devices during product development boards. We hold small stock of older Actel devices bought for previous projects, but surplus to immediate requirements, which may be available for resale.

Likewise we have old stock of analogue and digital ICs and discrete components.
